Elysburg Haunted House at Valley Gun & Country Club, Gun Club Road, Elysburg, Pennsylvania.

The haunted house is fantastic! The best I have ever been in. It is fun and scary and has a lot of interesting things that you don't see at many other places. The people that are running it are really great! If you are in perfect physical shape this place would be perfect. I have asthma, arthritis, and I wear contacts. There was a lot of dry ice smoke that was making my breathing a bit difficult. Also because I wear contacts I see a lot of glowing lights at nighttime. This is a problem when there is a lot of darkness and bright light shining from different directions which is the case at this haunted house. It made it extremely difficult to see at times especially when you have the dried ice fog mix with the lights. Also there were some spots where it was completely dark and I was not able to see. Finally, because of my arthritis the four hour wait in line along with the time that it takes to do the trails and the haunted house just became unbearable for my knees. By the end I was taking a break every couple of steps because I was in so much pain. There are some tubes you have to crawl through. I'm 5 foot five and I had to bend over at the waist to get through those. there were also a lot of steps to go up and down on and quite a bit of an even walking through some trails in the woods. so if you have an easy footing especially in the dark you might want to stay away. I did see one girl in the crowd carrying a chair with her. If I ever go again I would definitely do this. The four hours of standing in line was just too much to handle. They have really fantastic vendors there with great food and drinks that you can enjoy as you're waiting. It was definitely worth the $10 entry fee . Go back again? If I were totally healthy and didn't have my knee pain, I would go back in a heartbeat!
